CONNECTED POSSIBILITIES

Safety Plan

We are excited to be back in person for Appian World 2022 and we are committed to keeping you safe. Below you will find a series of protocols and onsite precautions we will be taking. Our Safety Plan may change depending on local health guidelines so please bookmark this page and check back for our most up-to-date information.

Vaccination Policy

In light of changes in regulatory guidance and law, and greatly reduced numbers of cases, in the U.S. since the launch of Appian World, we have updated our requirements for attendance. Pursuant to current law, Appian may be required to accommodate individuals who decline to voluntarily provide proof of vaccination. Individuals who do not voluntarily provide proof of vaccination must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 48 hours before the start of the conference.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Enhanced Cleaning: We will undertake enhanced, deep cleaning before, during, and after Appian World, working with venue partners to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. This includes continuous sanitization throughout the course of the event, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms, and food and beverage areas.

Personal Hygiene: We will provide additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the event space, encouraging all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

Physical Distancing

Registration Process: We will make best use of technology and self-service terminals to minimize queuing and contact during the registration process.

Physical Contact: We may request that participants avoid physical contact, such as handshakes and embraces, promoting alternative ways to greet business partners.

Physical Distancing: The conference has been designed to allow for social distancing. If queuing is anticipated, we will provide suggested social distancing markers.

Food and Beverage: Our team will work closely with venue partners to employ the highest standard of food safety, ensuring self-service is properly monitored and utensils are regularly changed.

Protect and Detect

Trace and Contact: In the event of any positive test results, we will cooperate with the local health authorities to trace and contact participants, respecting privacy regulations.

Testing: We will have a PCR testing facility onsite at the event for any international travelers who will require testing prior to returning home. More information on this will be shared closer to the event.

Covid Compliance Officer (CCO): We will have two (2) CCOs at the event to ensure all staff and attendees are following the safety protocols we have put in place.
